2008 -2009 youth team registrations will be held during the free wrestling clinics on November 11th & 12th. We will be
available beginning at 6:00 pm. If you are not able to come either of the nights indicated above, please click on the link
below for the Registration Form and return the completed form and your registration fee payable to ELCO Raiders Youth

After the clinic, the coaches will divide the wrestlers into the Varsity and Junior Varsity teams based upon age and
experience. Wrestlers who were members of the Varsity team last year, please assume that you will again be a Varsity
wrestler. Wrestlers in first grade or younger, please assume that you will be a Junior Varsity wrestler. Parents of other
wrestlers will be notified of whether their wrestler has been assigned to Varsity or Junior Varsity prior to the first practice.
Team practices will be as follows.
Junior Varsity team - Mondays and Wednesdays beginning on Monday, November 17, 2008
Varsity team - Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning on Tuesday, November 18, 2008.
All practices are held from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm.

- • Wear a t-shirt and shorts or sweats. No jean shorts or shorts with zippers.
- • Bring wrestling shoes or sneakers. Wrestling shoes and head gear are not mandatory, but are strongly
recommended if you join the team. Some tournaments may require their use. We have a limited supply of shoes
than can be borrowed from the club for the season on a first come first serve basis.
- • Bring water or a sports drink every night, we will not be sending the wrestlers to the water fountains
for drink breaks as that becomes too time consuming.
